Kindle App on the iPhone

I keep seeing the Kindle ads showing up everywhere, I personally cannot justify the cost of the Kindle device so I took a look at the Kindle app for the iPhone. This is a free app – once it is installed on the iPhone you can buy and download books. It is really easy, locate a book, buy it and it comes up on the iPhone. Books are very easy to read just flick across to change pages, the app remembers where you left off. Text is very bright and clear. You can have black text on a white background or white text on a black background or Sepia text on a very light tan background. You can bookmark pages and change the text size. Work in vertical or horizontal mode. The real advantage is I have full acess to the books availble for the Kindle with out adding another electronic device to my “collection” of gadgets.
