even Geezers like me can use the iPhone

The iPhone is not just for kids and young people.  What I am learning is geezers like me can learn to use this thing.

So far my iPhone is a GPS device, I can text on it, I can post to Facebook and WordPress from the phone.  It can take movies (which I can edit on the phone) and pretty good photos,  I get push notifications about upcoming bad weather and important national and international news.  It can play music, and movies,  I can see movies on You Tube,  and oh yes I can talk to people on thing – besides all the features it is a pretty good cell phone.

The new OS 3.1 and the new iTunes 9 work together to make the iPhone a really usefull device.

Of course there is also email and the ability to go on the Internet included.

The app store continues to grow – there are all sorts of really usefull apps.  Plus as a portable game platform this thing works really well also.

Even if all you can get is Edge the iPhone is really useful.  The ability to use WiFi increases the usefulness.  If you have 3G this can really help.  Next week AT&T is supposed to allow MMS (media messages)  I am looking forward to trying that when it comes available.
